Erin is a Louisville native and lifelong mover. She began dancing at the age of 2 and hasn’t stopped since! Trained and teaching in many dance styles, her favorite is modern dance as she has choreographed and performed locally with Moving Collective and Vandivier-Ford Dance Company. She graduated from the University of Louisville in 2013 before moving to Washington, DC and earning an M.A. in Arts Management from American University in 2015.

Upon her return to Louisville, she found Bend and Zen and never looked back! Erin quickly became a studio lizard heat-seeker and was a fast learner because of her dance background before graduating from the Bend and Zen 200-Hour Teacher Training in February of 2017.

Erin sees yoga as an art form to be practiced in everyday life and will always be a student before an instructor. She loves customizing classes so never be shy to request your favorite poses or intentions! In addition to being a proud dance alumna of The Kentucky Center Governor’s School for the Arts, she now serves as it’s Program Manager, stewarding over 250 students through their life-changing arts journey every summer. In her free time, Erin hangs with her husband Shane and Corgi mix pup, Jango, and expects a new addition to the Quinlan family in early October!

  • Power Vinyasa
  • This dynamic and energizing practice integrates a flowing series of postures to create internal heat as you increase strength, flexibility, balance and endurance. Our Power Vinyasa will take you through a vigorous and detoxifying sequence emphasizing conscious breath and fluid movement to strengthen the body and calm the mind. Open to all levels but best for those comfortable with the basic yoga postures and those looking for a healthy sweat.

  • Yang/Yin
  • Yin Yoga is a complementary yoga practice to the more dynamic and invigorating yang yoga and you will get it all in this class! The first section is a challenging Power Vinyasa flow followed by an extended floor series to fully relax your body. This class offers the perfect combination of the passive and the powerful aspects of yoga. You'll feel amazing after this one!
