Yoga teaching philosophy:
- To always spread love and compassion.
When I'm not teaching yoga...
- I’m transporting my children to multiple sports practices. Taking my dog, Gronk, for a walk. Reading and learning as much as I can about functional medicine and healing. Thinking about one day being able to meal prep or prepare dinner in a timely fashion.
Favorite yoga pose:
- Standing bow (Dancer’s), all day, every time.
One thing I can’t live without:
- My kiddos, my husband, and yoga.
One thing on my bucket list:
- I would love to travel to Thailand and also get certified in Shapeshifting with my teacher, Mary Jarvis at her home studio on Lake Michigan.
Fun fact:
- I’m fairly obsessed with David Goggins at the moment, and all he stands for. Listening to him speak and reading his books have been life changing for me. Stay Hard!

Jeanette Shuff

Instructor - RYT-300

Jeanette was born and raised in Louisville and began her yoga practice in April 2009. Not knowing what to expect, she kept coming back loving the challenge of each class. She became passionate about yoga, especially the Hot 26 practice because of the mental and physical challenge and the accessibility of the practice to all fitness levels. She encourages students to step out of their comfort zone and work towards their personal best without comparison to others.

In May 2019, Jeanette completed her 200 hour Hot 26 teacher training at YogaSoul in Nashville with Cindy Lunsford. She is most grateful for the incredible teachers and students she’s learned from and the friendships she’s made.
Barkan yoga is a mixture of hatha and vinyasa yoga with a set sequence of five core flows. These sequences combine traditional Hot 26 postures with vinyasa poses to create variations, versatility, and an even greater range of motion. This is truly a "hot fusion" experience like no other!

Perfect for.....practitioners of Hot 26 and vinyasa alike!

Temperature range: 100 - 102 degrees.
